  1. How does Alkaline Luxe use Cookies?

“Cookies” are files that are placed on your device by websites you visit. The purpose of a Cookie is to identify you as a unique user of the Website. A web beacon is programming code that can be used to, among other things, transfer an individual’s unique user identification (often in the form of a Cookie) to a database and associate the individual with previously acquired information about an individual in a database. This allows us to track certain websites you visit online. Web beacons are used to determine products or services you may be interested in, and to track online behavioral habits for marketing purposes.

Alkaline Luxe does not currently place any Cookies or web beacons of its own. However, as explained below,  Alkaline Luxe is powered by Shopify. Shopify may make available to Alkaline Luxe some of the personal information collected from its Cookies to Alkaline Luxe, such as analytics and performance information that helps us understand how you and other users engage with the Website.

A list of the cookies placed by Shopify, and instructions on how to modify your settings to remove or block nonessential Cookies, is available at https://www.shopify.ca/legal/cookies. Alkaline Luxe will update this policy if and when it decides to use Cookies and web beacons of its own.
